Dear, In my eyes this folder should not called Urestricted.
With unrestricted means as the words says - unrestricted.
And you HAVE some restrictions for use.

Uh, they have one rule: don't make brushes or textures out of them. I don't require credit, the stock can be used anywhere, and you're allowed to use them for commercial purposes Good luck finding that elsewhere for free.

I just wanted to say thank you for being one of the few people here on DA truly after progress. Your unrestricted stocks allow users to be able to make a little profit off of what they do by saleing prints outside of DA. I myself will be using your winter pieces to create templates that will aid in dyslexia recovery for a school. I wish there were more artists like yourself because everyone is out to get a little money.

Also what makes your stocks much better than other's stock is the size. You have a fairly large size to your stocks. I am able to create A4 items with it. Which is a book letter print size. Thank you so much once again for being a great stock artist.

:huggle: It's not a problem at all. I will never be able to use all the photos I take, so I figured that I might as well offer them to others.

You have some very nice stuff but everything I've seen has the stipulation that brushes are not allowed. Therefore, I don't think you can truly call this "unrestricted stock" since you have this stipulation on the works; and unrestricted means by definition that it has no restrictions.

This is all very sad :cries: for me too since I've been looking for nice stuff to make brushes and patterns for my work and your stuff would make excellent choices. I don't have a good :camera: of my own to take pictures so I have to depend on the works of others to help me out. However each brush or pattern I make I name with my name and then the stock artist's name so that they get credit when I use the brush or pattern. That way there's no harm, no foul. They get credit for the stock and I get credit for creating the brush or pattern. So brushes are not really a bad thing. They could actually promote your work to a great degree if done right. As it comes with the brush restriction, I'll probably only use your work for some journal or gallery skins.... or maybe some tubes. With brushes I can do **so** much more with it though and would use it more often. Oh well.....

I actually have very, very few stipulations when compared to other people. I've seen "unrestricted as long as you credit me and link back to me and such and such and so and so." However, since you have taken the time to look this over and you say you do credit the stocker in your brushes, I would be happy to let you do so. :) I'm just leery about opening it up to anyone because not everyone is as good about it as you are.

Oh really?!?!!?!? That would be great!!!! Thanks so much!!!!! It would be helpful for you to maybe please note somewhere that you told me this so that you won't forget and get mad at me if you see me using a brush I made with your stuff! I definitely do credit artists for their work but.... we're all human and sometimes we forget.... me included.... so if you forget you told me this then I'm afraid you or someone else might get upset later when I credit you for a brush when your work says no brushes allowed. :fear: I'm not sure where a good place to do that would be though. I guess I could try to tell you each time I made a brush with one of your pieces and then you could put on the piece that I had permission to make the brush. That isn't something I usually do though in my work. I usually just post the credit to my own piece; so I might forget to tell you that I made the brush. I just don't want you to forget and get upset though. Do you know of a way that would work that would be less likely to cause problems if one of us forgot?

Oh!! This might work!! How about if you put in your stock folder description that I have permission to make brushes with your stuff that's in that folder? Since pretty much all your works have that stipulation on them it would be tedious to have to edit each piece I used for brushes. (I make a ton of brushes and patterns. Some I keep and others I don't. It all depends on which ones I like the best.) Putting it in the folder description means it will be there handy and isn't going to get lost in a sea of notes or posts somewhere. It would remind you and would make a good reference I think. Don't you?

I was thinking the exact same thing! I'm going to add your name to a new "Stipulation Free" list in the folder description. :)

OH WONDERFUL!!!! Thank you!!!

I read on there that you also are allowing "pre-made stock" but I have no idea what that is. Could you explain that to me please?
